·Actively develops strategy/ demonstrates strategic thinking in building annual plans and timelines throughout the year.
·Works with Senior Director to create strategic annual PR calendar highlighting agreed seasonal product stories and hero pieces.
·Manages 1-2 PR agencies and full teams in that regard.
·Shows creative thinking and actively seek and execute ideas that build brand credibility and drive sales.
·Manages relations with fashion media, keeping the brand top of mind by proactively inviting fashion media to showroom, and selecting/providing pieces from collection for fashion stories.
·Maintains regular contact with Greater China fashion media to ensure that the brand appears in every relevant fashion story and is front of mind when product is selected.
·Works with Press Office to select samples for key fashion stories, overseeing all call-ins to senior editors.
·Outlines pitch strategy/ target publication and then drive editorial in these areas on a regular basis.
·Manages seasonal shows, providing input to creative execution and managing budget.
·Creates and manages compelling seasonal press days in China – that support marketing messages and drive seasonal focus.
·Works with merchant and product design to ensure press previews are timely to avoid missing editorial opportunities and on time for seasonal press gift mailing.
·Creates and manages China/Hong Kong press database and mailings.
·Manages China showroom.
·Manages Greater China press events.
·Partners with Head of Marketing and HQ and local Corporate Communications and external agencies to proactively pitch major brand news stories (print and broadcast), helping to prepare spokespeople and source relevant artwork.
·Oversees fashion media relations, identifying opportunities and sharing best practices.
·Develops strong cross functional relationships – influence and leverage PR successes across organization.
·Supports Senior Director and other internal members in corporate external messaging – develop strong relationship with corporate communications dept in SF.
·Aggressively manages budgets on all PR activities whilst maintaining high standards.
·Participates in Seasonal Line Adoption, to drive sample “hot list” for the marketing team (advertising, windows, visual, PR, etc.).
–Key person responsible for organizing and managing incoming (receipt and check-in) and outgoing sample deliveries, ensuring brand styling rooms and showrooms are kept clean, organized and well managed.
–Facilitates delivery of marketed samples for key meetings such as Investor Review and PR showrooms.
–Manages “hot list” and works directly with merchandising and production teams to insure delivery deadlines for all shoots are being met.
–Owns setting up Key Item Meeting prior to photo shoot to align on all shoot product.
–Manages all Wardrobe needs for all advertising shoots for Greater China.
–Manages studio set-up on location during prep, styling, fitting, shoot and breakdown days.
–Manages prepping and organizing all product to be shot, facilitates shot order (shot boards).
–Facilitates fittings, speaking to ad sample and product details, ensuring fitting is correct.
–Manages wardrobe assistants throughout photo shoot process.
–Participates in styling and pre-pro meetings, speaking as needed to factual product details.
–Provides Brand Communication team, Creative Director, and external stylist with all product information needed.
–Creates the final shot list with accurate product information for all global marketing teams to use when referencing the shots.
–Participates in the post-production process by creating the retouching bible for to reference and checking final assets for product/color correctness.
–Manages the communication to Agency and internal Production team of all re-touching details, including color and other alterations.
–Works closely with Global Marketing/PR teams to support any key seasonal showroom setups and fashion shows.
·Minimum Education Level.
–5+ years of management in Corporate Fashion, Styling/Advertising.
·Required knowledge, skills & abilities.

–Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.

–Brand: An understanding of the brand (including aesthetic and taste level).
–Relationships: Proven experience and ability to work cross-functionally, especially with Creative organizations.

–Language: Chinese (mandarin) language and/or knowledge of Chinese culture and consumer behavior would be highly advantageous.
