Position Description - Retail Development Director, China


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Lead the delivery of the communications plan for all retail outlets, including new store launches and refreshes, including (but not limited to): in-store POS, local marketing opportunities, retail integration of larger campaigns, marketing support for ad-hoc pop up shops, working with 3rd party partners to deliver bespoke marketing plans in store, leading the relationship with customers to plan and deliver integrated / shared marketing plans.
·Driving the brand strategy and execution for the China Retail Marketplace, leveraging key accounts and trade partners by category/ consumer proposition.
·Delivery visual merchandising solutions and regular updates that help to drive sales and brand awareness while maintaining the brand image in all points of distribution.
·Ensure sell through of products through implementation of optimal Retail in-store training programs with effective use of internal materials, training tools and collateral.
·Develop and manage retail tolls to facilitate the execution of brand strategy throughout the GTM process.
·Coordinate and conduct seasonal trade-show and ad hoc retail events.
·Develop and execute seasonal key story communication to ensure the well execution and high sell through at the retail marketplace and stores.
·Define mid-term/annual retail development strategies which including channel & geographic & format expansion strategies.
·Ensures the activities of outlets opening/upgrading/planning to follow the defined company process.
·Develop and timely modify the retail development process.
·To manage & inspire a large team and retail partners to deliver the business functional goals & aligning team and Individual goals. Coach individuals, create opportunities for development, make good hiring decisions, and drive performance management and recognition & rewards.

REQUIRMENT:

·A good communications professional with 5+ year experience in strategic development or retail marketing communication in distribution/sales//retail development related environment.
·Exceptional communications and influencing skills.
·Team player with Strong leadership skills, able to inspire and motivate.
·Excellent project management skills, proactive and self motivated.
·Good presentation skill and fluent English speaking and writing.
·High degree of integrity and loyalty.
·Evaluates situations quickly, foresees problems and selects effective solutions.
·Working experiences in sportswear industry is a plus.
